Machinist (Skilled) Apprentice

- The Machinist (Skilled) Apprentice will attend College full time for the first year of the apprenticeship. From Year 2 onwards, you can expect to:
- Comply with statutory regulations, organisational safety requirements and undertake health and safety risk assessments
- Maintain mechanical devices and equipment
- Prepare and use Lathes for Turning Operations
- Prepare and use Grinding Machines
- Understand advanced manufacturing techniques and Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
- Understand advanced Grinding, Turning and Specialist Machining
- Learn to set and operate various CNC machinery
- Learn Fanuc and Siemens controls

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 and above, including English, Maths and Science
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Resilience, determination and good communication skills
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of our business
- To live within commuting distance of our Bradford Office
