_**AEX Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a Part Time HR Officer (1 Year Maternity Cover Approx. 20 hours a week) for our client based in Hemel Hempstead.**_
- Handling of current HR processes including organisational development, employee development, recruitment, redundancy, performance management, training etc
- Be the main contact person for HR queries, internally and externally while dealing with Peninsula our Support Consultancy
- Create, review, and update all internal HR templates and policies, ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies, including providing advice on interview evaluation techniques and assisting with developing recruitment campaigns
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
- Identifying development needs
- Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems they have and managing their expectations
- Supporting the leadership team with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
- General HR administrative duties.

**Person specification**:

- CIPD Level 3 qualified, or a degree in HR is preferred
- Knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience in a similar role, such as a HR Officer, HR Adviser, HR Consultant or other
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Organisational and administrative skills
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Ability to design clear and fair company policies
- Driven and determined
- Practical and logical problem-solver.
