- Good Hope, Heartlands, Solihull and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals sites. Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) is located in a desirable and sought after area in Birmingham with excellent rail and bus links to the rest of the city, suburbs and the wider region. There is a train station located within QEHB and University of Birmingham campus.

The posts are based within the respiratory department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. There are 3 respiratory wards with a total bed base of 84, within which there is a dedicated 12 bedded Respiratory Support Unit (RSU) providing acute NIV, CPAP and high flow nasal oxygen therapy. There are 21 Respiratory consultants who contribute some part to the Respiratory services, with various subspecialty interests:
