Aquatics Retail Assistant

We are looking for someone that knows about aquatics and fish keeping to join the team within our aquatics centre. This is a full time role and would include weekends.

Applicants should have the following:

- A passion for fish - this can be tropical, marine or cold water. Experience caring for fish is essential and a good basic knowledge of the hobby is crucial. Training will be provided to help the applicant gain knowledge on areas within the hobby they are unsure of.
- Good customer service - we pride ourselves on being able to respond to any customer queries with a high level of expertise and enthusiasm.
- Retail experience - not essential but beneficial. This would include working on a till / epos system and customer care.
- Ability to work as part of a team - the department has a strong team that share responsibilities of buying in products, helping customers, maintenance of tanks and other equipment.

The aquatics centre has grown over the years and we have customers from all over the South West that come to see the huge range of stock we have. Our centre has large areas devoted to tropical, marine and outdoor aquatics.

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
