PrepWorld are looking for **Yard Operatives**:

- The Yard operative’s objectives/responsibilities are to support the yard/packaging team in ensuring the yard/stores are always kept clean and tidy and that all customer trays are organised and palletised.

**Main duties**:

- Yard housekeeping.
- Palletise customer trays.
- Separate mixed trays.
- Fruit skip areas are kept tidy.
- Support the yard Team leader/Supervisor with any ad-hoc tasks.
- The role involves manual handling and the ability to withstand working in cold and wet weather conditions daily.
- The role requires an alert disposition as you will be working near yard traffic and moving machinery.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Previous experience operating Fork Lift Trucks / an expired license / certificate of training would be highly advantageous (in house training available)
- A “can do” attitude.
- Ability to be able to carry out manual handling duties.
- Understanding and ability to work outside, this will include all weathers
- Basic English and Maths
- Yard/stock/warehouse work advantageous

**Days and Hours of work**:
Sunday to Wednesdays (4 days on, 3 days off per week)
05:00 - 17:00 (day shift)

**Pay**:
Yard Operatives start at £10.42 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
