Join a close-knit family-run groundworks company as a Working Foreman. Hooper and Sons is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to take on a leadership role within our growing team. As a Working Foreman, you will not only contribute to groundworks projects but also oversee and coordinate the efforts of the crew, ensuring that projects are completed with precision and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership by actively participating in groundworks tasks alongside the team.
- Site Management: Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the job site, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all groundworks tasks meet the highest quality standards and comply with project specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Safety Oversight: Uphold safety protocols, creating a safe working environment for all team members.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and oversee the use of machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges promptly and effectively to keep projects on track.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Ground Worker with leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to safety regulations and protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Willingness to lead by example and mentor junior team members.
- Reliable transportation to and from Hooper and Sons yard.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
