We have an excellent opportunity to join our expanding team in Surrey. Our service users are looking for Companions who are kind, compassionate and are prepared to offer everything from companionship, care and support. This can be in the comfort of our service users’ homes or out and about in the community.
If you have experience, then great, but if you don’t just bring your natural qualities and we’ll provide the training you need to thrive. Working in adult social care gives you the chance to build on the skills you have and learn new ones.
**Responsibilities**:
There are very few roles where can go on fun days out, talking to people, laughing and making them smile, and the opportunity to make a huge impact in someone’s life. So many service users have come to us with very little independence, and with the support of our staff they have made a huge life changing development and have grown in confidence dramatically, and this has improved their life for the good.
**Requirements**:
- **No Previous experience required**. Full paid training will be given
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Empathy and patience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and ability to maintain and record accurate records
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
