Design and Marketing Assistant

**Artisans and Artists is a growing company within the high-end interior design and home interiors industry.**

The company prides itself on a high level of customer / client focus, quality work, creativity and attention to detail. Due to continued expansion we are seeking to add additional staff to our growing team with this new position becoming available within our South Devon Design Studio / Head Office.

We are looking to recruit a design and marketing assistant with strong graphic design skills plus e-commerce and digital marketing knowledge to join our busy design studio.

You will be a competent graphic designer with an interest in interior design and be able to prepare designs, images and artwork to meet specific briefs for print and digital reproduction. You will be well versed with the Adobe Suite of software programmes, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom. You will be able to take an Instagram worthy image and be able to update and maintain an interiors retail website (training will be given for the latter) and engage with developing and deploying digital marketing activities.

Working within a small dynamic team you will be a friendly team player (no lone wolves) who enjoys the variety and flexibility required within a creative environment of a growing small enterprise. There is an element of client and supplier interface as well as supporting the Creative Director in developing design concepts.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the business longer term and who is able to progress into a more senior role over time, part of which will include the recruitment, training and development of colleagues as part of building and eventually leading a team. Able to contribute ideas and enjoying bringing something to the party are pre-requisites for this varied role. Articulate, numerate, methodical and reliable you will enjoy sharing knowledge, learning new skills and helping clients and colleagues alike.

Salary dependent upon experience.

Working hours - Monday - Friday inclusive, 8.45am to 5.15pm
