**About Storengy UK**:
Storengy UK is a subsidiary of ENGIE, we developed and now operate the Stublach Natural Gas Storage site in Cheshire, the largest onshore in the UK.

We are actively participating in the energy transition and supporting the UK government strategy to reach net zero by 2050. We have set our own carbon neutral target of 2025. A strategy to develop biomethane production in the UK and an ambition to create and operate hydrogen storage further support these targets.

**About the role**:
Storengy UK are recruiting for a **Lead SHEQ Co-ordinator **based** in Cheshire.** This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for monitoring and administration of SHEQ reporting systems: Including Proactive Observations, Managers site visit (MSV) reports, housekeeping inspections and action management in order to ensure SHEQ standards remain high within Storengy UK.
- Attend plant coordination meetings and ensure adequate communication regarding SHEQ between Operations and Projects teams.
- Complete supplier/ sub-contractor prequalification evaluations for SHEQ.
- Oversee SHEQ event reporting (preventive and reactive) for site, ensure all events are entered into the SHEQ digital management system.
- Complete Triage of all event/incident reporting and facilitate SHEQ event investigation, root cause analysis and close out of associated improvement actions.
- Compile and monitor weekly and monthly SHEQ statistics for group reporting.
- Development and issue of general and themed SHEQ communications across the business.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in a lead SHEQ functional role (COMAH Site experience preferred).
- Have an up-to-date good working knowledge of relative UK SHE legislation, standards, practices. (COMAH, MHASWA, PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH etc.).
- Training development & delivery ability in relevant quality, safety, occupational health & environmental topics.
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and identify underlying root causes. Trained in Tap root, 5 whys or other similar methodology.
- Demonstrate high standards in SHEQ performance, behaviours on site, and when representing Storengy UK.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety (or working towards.) or equivalent level of SHE qualification
- Environmental Awareness
- Internal Auditor Qualification and experience in completing system level audits / Knowledge of ISO Management standards (ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001) and experience in implementation
