Workman's Recruitment is partnering with one of Scotland's largest privately owned quarrying and civil engineering businesses, renowned for its exceptional service in providing complete services for construction and civil engineering projects in Scotland.

You will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining HGVs and LGVs with workshops and off-site environments. You will play a major role in the business's success by ensuring vehicles are kept on the road in a safe and reliable manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct safe and efficient servicing, fault diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and powder tankers within workshops and off-site locations
- Ensure all work is conducted following risk/COSHH assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work procedures
- Verify that all tools and equipment used for repairs and maintenance are checked, fit for purpose, and appropriately certified
- Conduct daily checks and complete the appropriate checklists before using any plant or equipment (e.g., forklifts, MEWPs, lifting ramps, lifting accessories)
- Promptly report any defects in plant and equipment to the Site Manager/Fleet Manager

**Requirements**:

- Full UK Class One Driving License (C+E)
- Experience working on HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and Powder Tankers
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Time-Served
- Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)

**Package/Salary**:

- Salary: £37,500 - £38,500 per annum
- Overtime Avaliable 1.5X - 2X

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 40 Hours Per Week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
