Star Infinity Care are looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to support Service Users in their own homes across the Liverpool and surrounding areas

For this role it is essential that you are able to travel to individuals' homes in order to provide care and support. If you are a driver with access to your own vehicle you will be paid a mileage rate of 40 pence per mile between care visits.

Our Service Users can have a range of needs, from supporting them to access activities in the community and providing companionship to supporting with all aspects of daily living and personal care.

Please note that previous experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not required. We provide full training and support to enable you to provide the highest quality person-centred care possible to our Service Users.

£12.00 per hour, plus enhanced mileage rate of 40 pence per mile (drivers with own vehicle only)

**Purpose of Role**

To provide the highest standard of person-centred care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

**Key Tasks**
- Providing personal care and support to service users with a wide range of needs with tasks including but not limited to; medication support, nutrition & hydration support, toileting support, housework tasks support, community access support, companionship support
- Encouraging independence of Service Users
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Service Users
- Following training and instruction set out by the Registered Manager
- Completing documentation and records in a professional and clear way
- Adhering to agreed ways of working

**Key Results/Objectives**
- Supporting Service Users in a person-centred way
- Respecting Service User’s rights and choices
- Working with colleagues and other professionals involved in Service Users care and support in a professional way
- Following Care Plans and understanding the care and support of Service Users
- Adhering to the Care Quality Commission’s regulatory standards
- Following policies and procedures set out by Star Infinity Care
- Attending training, supervision and other meetings in order to aid in personal development

**Essential**

Good command of written and spoken English

Communication Skills

Access to smart phone (to access care notes system)

**Desirable**

Experience in care setting - 1 year

Domiciliary Care - 1 year

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

Full UK Driving licence

Access to vehicle
