I’m recruiting on behalf of an amazing organisation for an experienced HR Administrator who are based on the outskirts of Wakefield.

You will provide the HR department with an effective and efficient administrative service, liaising with front line staff and managers on a day to day basis.

**Duties**
- To undertake a variety of general administrative duties related to the work of the HR Department and HR management activities across the Organisation. This includes but is not limited to: producing information electronically, photocopying, collating and dispatching of large mailings and/or meeting/hearing packs across the Organisation, preparing invoices for processing, booking of meeting rooms, travel etc. and the development and maintenance of filing systems (both electronic & manual) to enhance the smooth running of the PS function.
- To have responsibility for the monitoring and ordering of stationery for the HR Department at the office base and to undertake the annual stationery/goods stock take.
- To book travel and accommodation as required by members of the Organisation’s HR team.
- To manage the archiving of files/information within the HR Services Department at the office base and on the electronic system.
- To respond to incoming queries, ensuring that the callers/visitors obtain a response to their query and where this cannot be provided directly, refer them to an Assistant HR Advisor or the HR Business Partner as appropriate.
- To attend formal meetings/hearings as required across the Organisation, taking detailed minutes, typing these into an agreed format and seeking relevant approval, in accordance with specified deadlines.
- To contribute to the development and maintenance of PS databases/PS IT system to produce relevant management reports. To manage a range of HR management reporting statistics/KPI’s from the PS database, (e.g. turnover, absence report, workforce profiling) ensuring that such information is accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible. To analyse this information as required, ultimately for use by the Organisation’s Senior Leadership Team
- To prepare and issue employment contracts for all new employees across the Organisation (and revisions as necessary), according to agreed SLAs.
- To manage the central collation of relevant information on migrant workers and the eligibility to work of all staff across the Organisation monitoring and addressing queries as appropriate with relevant managers or administrators. To escalate queries as appropriate to the relevant HR Services member.
- To oversee the DBS online system and administer paper based criminal record checks (as required) responding to queries and liaising with managers as appropriate.
- To co-ordinate, disseminate and collate information from employee surveys enabling the Organisation to have tangible measures and reports on which to base future HR related interventions e.g. workplace satisfaction, employee engagement and levels of motivation.
- It would be beneficial that applicants do have HR Administrative experience however not essential but must be from a very strong administrative background.
- Previous experience of producing reports and statistical information
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge including Powerpoint
- Impeccable organisational skills
- Be able to work as part of a team and on own whilst working from home

**Hours of Work**

At present this role is offered on a Hybrid basis with 2-3 days in the office, with the rest working from home however depending upon business requirements this could change. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700.

**Salary**

An annual salary of between £21,000 - £24,0000 based upon experience.
