**Academy Care Ltd **has an exciting opportunity for a **Care Worker **to join our fantastic team in **Wakefield.**

**As our Care Worker, you will receive**:
**Exceptional pay system**:

- £12.50 per hour standard rate, £13.00 per hour weekend rate
- We offer up to £15.00 per hour for last-minute rota changes
- Drivers get an extra 50 pence for every visit
- Mileage payment (£0.30 per mile *conditions apply)
- Guaranteed hours or variable hour contract
- Weekly or monthly pay
- Paid training (£120 *conditions apply)
- Refer a friend bonus (£200 per friend *conditions apply)

**Exceptional training**:

- Level 2 and 3 diplomas in adult social care
- Level 2 national standards training in moving and handling, medication awareness, and first aid at work, plus a further eight optional courses.

**When can you start?**
We offer a fast-track system for those who want an immediate start (it takes approximately three days to get you started). Our standard recruitment cycle will have you working within two weeks.

From you, we need references, a satisfactory DBS, and our training standards met.

**The care worker's role**:
You will be responsible for delivering person-centred care services to our service users, which can include personal care, medication, and companionship.

We have shifts available for anyone who suits our company ethos. These include day work, night work, shift work - domiciliary work, and long sits including work to suit people with kids.
