**About the team.**:
A truly cross functional team with projects and day to day work across the whole of the organic growth sphere. Within the team responsibility lies for the technical and onsite optimisation of the site, combined with a targeted keyword strategy and extensive offsite activity. This is then overlaid with providing a major role in supporting our current website migration ensuring we maintain visibility in a highly competitive and ever evolving space.

**About the role.**:
This role will focus on leading the team through the technical SEO & Onsite optimisation, working with our colleagues in Digital Customer Experience (DCX) to ensure we are constantly evolving with the market and providing the best possible opportunities for the business to grow organically.

This role will be a key component in the success of how we take advantage of our new tech from our site migration and grow the channel in the future.

**About you.**:
You’ll combine this with being an excellent team player who wants to not only learn from others but develop and nurture more junior team members as well. This is vital in fitting in with the team.

Underpinning all of this will be:

- At least 2-3 experience years of leading an SEO team in house or in agency
- Extensive technical knowledge understanding
- Commercial experience working within SEO with in-depth knowledge of SEO in practice
- Strong technical skills - crawl management, cannibalisation reduction and experienced in compiling/ interpreting full technical site audits
- Reporting and tracking experience with SEO tools (GA, GSC, AHREFS, Screaming frog, Moz, SEMrush)
- Basic HTML, CSS, JS understanding
- Understanding process of large site migrations
- Knowledge of content management systems and integration
- Knowledge of offsite SEO techniques, outreach and building natural looking backlink profile
- Challenger mindset, questioning existing ways of working and suggesting new initiatives
- Good understanding of the retail environment and have experience of optimising large sites within it.

**What happens next?**

You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position:
**1st stage**:

- A one-hour formal interview with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience and competency-based questions.

**2nd Stage** - A one-hour task-based Interview relevant to the BAU of the role, followed by a Q&A. This can be held either in person or remotely.
