We are seeking a motivated and confident individual to support the Health Board Resuscitation & Clinical Skills Team in the provision of the Level Two Basic Life Support and First Aid at Work courses.

The team also support the Rapid Response to Acute Deterioration programme and opportunities will be provided to develop quality improvement and clinical audit skills.

Our Health Board Resuscitation and Clinical skills team are a dynamic and enthusiastic team who are passionate in supporting our clinical teams to improve patient outcomes. They all have a wealth of clinical experience and actively support all members within the team to support continuous professional development.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision and development of cascade trainers to deliver Level 2 Basic Life Support.

Excellent organisational skills are required to both develop and re accredit our cascade trainers.

They will also be developed to train in the First aid at work course, and support the quality improvement and clinical audit programme that the team is responsible for.

You must be working towards or hold a level 4 qualification and have experience in delivering skills training and assessment.

Other duties include to provide reports on training provision and attendance and to Support data collection for the Acute Deterioration Quality Improvement programmes and the Medical Emergency and Cardiac Arrest databases.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales
