The Division of Women & Children’s are looking to appoint a fixed termNeonatal Clinical Fellow (Tier 1) to join our clinical team in Children’s department. This would be a fixed-term appointment for 12 months.

The post-holder will work closely with a team of junior doctors (Speciality trainees) and nurse practitioners in neonatal medicine, and will be required to undertake a wide range of clinical & non-clinical duties as described in the job description.

The post-holder would be working in the neonatal intensive care unit, postnatal ward and also attending to high risk deliveries in the labour ward. Out-of-hour shifts shall be in the neonatal rota.

The post-holder is expected to have current full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise (or eligible to obtain full registration). Please refer to the person specification for other essential and desirable criteria.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a Enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.

As this vacancy is within the division of Womens and Childrens, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust. Further details of how to join the update service will be provided upon appointment.
