**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of all monthly assigned complex statement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage weekly VAT Exception reporting and corrections, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Own the monthly AP KPI Reporting Dashboard, including debit balances, withheld balances, and ageing analysis, providing clear data for management decisions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the dashboard, ensuring accurate and meaningful reporting.
- Review and identify suppliers to bring into regular reconciliation process, demonstrating awareness of high impact suppliers and their implications within the finance team.
- Demonstrate a full understanding of the business PO process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in accounts payable activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A relevant accounting qualification such as AAT
- Driven self-starter who has the ability to work across all levels of the business effectively. Ability to challenge and report on processes which do not meet or follow Company policy, with excellent attention to detail
- Have proven organisation and communication skills - both verbal and written, be confident in liaison with both external and internal customers
- Previous AP experience
- Good systems knowledge, in particular Accounts Payable system packages.
- Ability to handle and manipulate data with good to intermediate Excel skills.
- Ideally experience of a multi-site large business environment will be an advantage.
