My Thame based client is looking for an Accounts Clerk. The responsibilities of the Accounts Clerk will be to perform a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions within the finance department for both accounts payable and accounts receivable. This will include processing invoices, verifying calculations, checking ledgers. Completing supplier reconciliations and processing bacs run. Liaising with customers and suppliers. Completing credit control duties. Deal with incoming calls to the department and manage the inbox. Any other duties as required. To be successful in this Accounts Clerk role you will have previous experience within an Accounts Payable department. Have experience of using accounting packages. Be educated to GCSE level with maths as essential. Working hours for this Accounts Clerk role are 8.30am - 5pm. Salary 25-27K depending on experience
