**The Opportunity**
Our client is a commercial membership association of payments industry influencers. It delivers eight projects to drive change, helps to connect the ecosystem, encourages innovation and profitable business growth and runs more than 70 events each year. Theirvision is for the UK to be the global hotspot for payments innovation. The client has over 160 members and grew at 60% last year alone. Its members come from across the payments value chain; including payments schemes, banks and issuers, merchant acquirers,PSPs, retailers, and more. These companies have come together, from across the UK and internationally, to join our association, collaborate, and speak with a unified voice.
**Summary of the Job**
You are responsible for generating and qualifying the leads required by the sales team for recruiting sponsors and new members.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Manage demand gen & the lead funnel across the business to ensure an adequate supply of MQLs and their sales conversion
- Create a marketing plan to support exceeding targeted performance across membership, events and digital products
- Monitor the conversion of MQLs into sales leads and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive new membership and event sponsorship sales.
- Ensure effective collaboration cross-dept. to protect the effectiveness of external communications and engagement/usage of data
- Work with the Content Marketer to identify opportunities to promote membership and event sales.
- Write compelling copy and produce effective designs.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure websites are in line with brand and are maximising marketing and sales opportunities
- Work with the Head of Marketing to optimise automated journeys and lead nurture through HubSpot and the CMS.
- Find ways to communicate the value of our services built on an understanding of customer needs and pain points
**Additional Responsibilities**
May be required for:
- Outsourced list building work - to be signed off by Sales Director
- Marketing collateral - to be signed off by Sales Director
- IT projects - to be signed off by Operations Director
