Fleet Coordinator

Are you looking for a new challenge? Our depot, are recruiting to work in their busy workshop, reporting into the Workshop Manager.

**What are we looking for?**

Essential
- Full Driving Licence;
- Excellent understanding of vehicle requirements and company procedures;
- Effective verbal and written skills, coupled with strong decision making and problem solving skills;
- Planning and time management;
- Extensive experience within the commercial vehicle rental industry;
- Knowledge of Transportation and Logistics industry, and relevant vehicle legislation;
- Strong PC literacy.

Desirable
- Experience of monitoring the utilisation of a commercial vehicle fleet;
- Previous use of fleet management software;
- Experience in analysing information about a commercial vehicle fleet, and making recommendations to management;
- Experience in liaising with suppliers to achieve commercial deadlines.

**What will your main objectives be?**

To achieve high productivity and quality within ICME time repair environment, whilst adhering to Company strategy and procedures. To provide a safe working environment, and the provision of a well maintained internal vehicle fleet.

**What will you be doing?**

1. To be the focal point for finding and allocating vehicles and trailers following depot requests, or for special events;
2. To respond to depot requests for service and recovery vehicles;
3. To monitor and report on depot compliance with MOTs, inspections and servicing of vehicles, in line with company policy and legal requirements;
4. To organise the physical movements of vehicles to Fridge to Go, Lecapitaine and third parties;
5. To optimize fleet availability by monitoring and reporting on VORs, FOC vehicles and the delivery status of all new and pre-contract vehicles;
6. To monitor the progress of vehicles undergoing refurbishment and taking appropriate action to ensure that they are completed in line with the refurbishment schedule;
7. To identify vehicles approaching off-hire and take action to maximise fleet utilisation;
8. To generate and analyse fleet statistics, including vehicle depreciation;
9. To monitor, investigate and report on incorrect vehicle movements and positions on the Igloo database;
10. To be the focal point for vehicles that have been identified or proposed for removal from the fleet, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken based on the senior management decisions regarding these vehicles;
11. Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

**How will we measure your success?**

Monitoring the following figures on Igloo on a weekly or monthly basis:

- Number of vehicles in Workshop (to decrease)
- Number of vehicles either rented or ready for rent (to increase)
- Number of vehicles being transferred on the low loader trailers
- Number of vehicles being refurbished by the different third parties (Lecap, Beacon, etc..)
- Percentage of the utilisation of the fleet throughout the network, per category, depot, etc.
