**Plant Centre Buyer/Merchandiser**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Wakehurst as a Buyer/Merchandiser for our recently expanded Plant Centre.

The Plant Centre provides a selection of specific outdoor plant collections based on a carefully curated range reflected in our phytogeographically laid out botanic garden alongside a focussed seasonal commercial offer. In addition, this enticing and welcoming space also offers indoor plants, complimentary gardening essentials and horticultural gifts.

We are looking for an experienced, focussed, and dedicated individual who shares our passion for plants and who would like to join us in building a Plant Centre with an industry reputation for uniqueness, quality and excellence that will establish Wakehurst as a destination retailer.

**More details**:
To be successful in this role, you will need an excellent understanding and knowledge of plants as well as previous experience of planning, sourcing and buying ranges alongside a proven commercial track record of setting and achieving budgets. Capable of working on your own initiative, with a determination to achieve the best outcomes for Wakehurst, but equally a team player with the ability to building close working relationships with onsite management teams, the Kew Buying and Merchandising team and local, national and international suppliers.

The salary will be £28,967 per annum pro-rata.
