Established in 1979 Derrys Ltd is one of Irelands leading Contract & Trade Furniture manufacturers and suppliers. For over 40 years Derrys Ltd have been manufacturing and supplying contract furniture for the hospitality industry, wholesaling furniture for furniture retailers, as well as boasting a large salvage and collectables offering.

**The role**

Derrys operate a fleet of cars, vans, 7.5t 18t and 44t vehicles along with trailers.

The Job role is to maintain and upkeep the vehicles to the highest of standards.
- Service, Maintained and repair of vehicles and equipment
- Fault Finding, problem solving and attention to detail
- Preparing vehicles for PSV/ MOT inspection
- Record keeping and scheduling for services, 6 weeks checks ect.
- Completion of job cards and checklists
- Keeping work area / works shop clean and tidy
- Pricing and ordering parts required from selected list of local motor factors
- Working 3 days each week (Friday is essential, as trucks are home on most Fridays for repairs that need covered immediately) however we are flexible on other days
- Days are 08:00-16:30 (15 mins / 45 mins break)

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently
- Relevant experience within the industry or NVQ Level 3 qualified with min 5 years’ experience
- Own tools (we will provide pit / oils / parts as well as workshop equipment) Desirable non-essential
- HGV Class 1 licence
- Interest in restoration projects (Derrys have a collection of vintage trucks and an interest in maintain / upkeeping and restoring these would be desirable
- Bodyshop knowledge (livery paint/graphics/truck. We have inhouse spray booth / powder coating and fabrication shops

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: Up to £20.00 per hour
