Support Worker/carer

Next Generation Nursing and Care is a non-profit organization that provides short-term and long-term care to adults with intellectual disabilities. We are looking for a responsible and compassionate individual to provide assistance in the home and care facilities in the Plymouth area.
- Provide home-like care for adults with intellectual disabilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks
- Transport residents to and from doctors' appointments
- Assist residents with living activities such as cooking, eating, bathing, grooming, etc.
- Provide companionship and love for residents
- Help with school activities
- Help with household chores including light cleaning, laundry, feeding the pets, etc.
- Maintain a pleasant demeanor towards residents
- Report any unusual incidents or concerns to supervisors promptly

**Skills/Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR certification preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record required (if driving)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test (if driving)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £11.67 per hour
