**Your mission**

The platform team in Bitpanda Pro is responsible for designing, maintaining and securing the cloud infrastructure, deploy pipelines and integrated systems that product teams rely on to deliver. We are looking for a very hands on individual to lead the team. Our tech stack:

- AWS managed services (ECS, RDS Aurora, MSK, DynamoDB, Eventbridge)
- Cloudflare
- Terraform
- Python (glue code)
- Gitlab

**What you'll do**
- Manage and own our platform engineering culture
- Design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure
- Model infrastructure in code using Terraform
- Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems
- Research and evaluate new technologies
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
- Design, document and threat model our platform stack

**Who are you**
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- Rapid pace engineer who keeps security and quality in mind
- Experience in managing a multi-account organization in AWS
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Proficiency in Python for scripting
