- Credit Controller position based in Manchester
**About Our Client**:
Our client is a prestigious institution in the Not For Profit sector. Located in Manchester, this institution is known for its dedication to creating a positive impact on society and its commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for its staff.
**The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Handling and resolving client queries.
- Maintaining credit control records and updating databases.
- Monitoring overdue accounts and taking appropriate action to ensure payment.
- Reconciling customer accounts and managing invoices.
- Providing assistance to the Accounting & Finance Department as required.
- Adhering to all financial procedures and policies within the company.
- Contributing to team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- A thorough understanding of credit control processes and procedures.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years Credit Control background.
- Not for Profit and Charities experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to commute to Manchester.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
