Shaw healthcare is looking for a Support Worker to join the team in **The Links in Dudley.** You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. **The Links** has an excellent reputation as highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.

The Links service is a residential service supporting service users who have a mental health forensic background and usually come to us from prison or hospital to be supported to eventually be able to move on to either supported or independent living.

The support our service users require is:
Support with medication

Support to maintain a healthy lifestyle including support to meal plan including the purchase of food/drink, preparation and cooking of meals

Support to complete household chores including cleaning and laundry

Support with finance management including weekly budgeting

Support with appropriate activities which could include social visits with family, looking for work or to attend college placements

Support to attend all appointments including medical appointments and appointments with probation etc

**Salary: £11.20 per hour**

**Working Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours a week. Shifts - 07.00-14.30/ 14.00-21.30/ 11.00-18.30.**
