**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring employees follow procedures in line with external quality and regulatory standards as well as contractual requirements.
- Supporting people to maintain their tenancy in line with their rights and responsibilities to their landlord, co-tenants and the wider community.
- Assisting in recruitment & selection of new staff.
- Ensuring thorough induction in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Ensuring all contracted hours within the home are covered and making necessary arrangements to cover for annual leave, sickness, training, etc.
- Undertaking shift work to include days, evenings, nights, sleep-in and weekends.
- Contributing to the formulation of support plans, risk assessments, Health Action Plans and ELP’s.
- Ensuring employees provide detailed reports within supported individuals personal plans including outcomes, risk assessments, ELP’s and Health Action Plans.
- Ensuring support is provided to people in a person centered, individual way and that this support is recorded and monitored appropriately to realise achievements for supported individuals.
- Promoting complaints procedure in a way that allows individuals to feel they can express any concerns or complaints and know that they will be taken seriously and dealt with effectively.
- Promoting the duty of care to ensure supported individuals are protected in line with local safeguarding protocols.
- Working with families to foster open, honest communication and promote a willingness to continuously improve the service their family member receives.
**Desirables**
- Driving License
- 6 months experience
- Level 3 Health and social care
**Salary**: £11.74-£12.28 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driving License (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: £11.74 per hour
