Customer Abuse Investigator

Our Customer Care team's mission is to ensure our customers receive the highest quality of Care from anywhere across the globe where they might find themselves using Deliveroo.

Success in this role will require in-depth knowledge, a proactive approach, a focus on getting things done and being supportive with everyone in the team. All this will help in making Deliveroo the definitive Food delivery company that everyone thinks of first.

**What you will be doing**:

- Reviewing consumer claims at an order level to identify behavioural data that can be indicative of whether the customer is an abuser or not, i.e. check photos for incorrect items, lateness for late claims, kitchen-to-customer time for cold food etc.
- Combining and considering a range of signals to build a more comprehensive picture of the customer and submitting individual assessments in a timely manner.
- Make a call as to whether the customer was an abuser or not, basing your decision on the information available for both the claim and the order level, as well as on the customer's history with Deliveroo to date.
- Provide feedback on customer care policies, and potential gaps in our fraud and abuse detection and prevention methods.
- Supporting other ad hoc back-office tasks relating to fraud and abuse prevention.

**Nice to haves**:

- Experience in quality assessing/auditing.
- Strong computer skills and analytical ability (i.e. collating data from multiple sources including data dashboards, to decide an outcome).
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A curiosity to learn and develop fraud and abuse domain.

Salary range: £27,500
