We're looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. The role will be for 30 hours a week, in 6 hour shifts as below:
**This will be Sunday to Saturday - Monday to Friday Shifts are**: Early 8-2 and Late 14:00 to 20:00 and 15:00 - 2100. Weekends and Bank Holidays shifts are 8-2, 12-6 and 14:30-20:30

We are looking for someone with a good customer service skills able to work in a busy and demanding post. would suit someone with a background in Mental Health. Must be able to work well in a team as well as working unsupervised. Must be Reliable, welcoming, kind and professional with a smart appearance and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Must be able to deal with difficult and challenging behavior in a professional manner.

Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

Full training and a uniform will be provided.

Job Description.

Answering the telephone and transferring calls to various departments where appropriate in a professional manner. Welcoming Service Users, Carers, Professionals and Visitors to the Site and dealing with inquiries on the phone or face to face. Checking ID’s and handing out security alarms and keys for which training will be given. Reporting maintenance and cleaning issues to the help-desk and keeping accurate and up to date maintenance logs. Creating access cards using the NT500 access system and programming pagers to which training would be provide. Turning alarms off when requested, Using two-way radios, speech pagers, intercoms and barrier controls. The Receptionist also acts as a Fire Warden and is responsible for keeping the Reception area clean, tidy and organised.

Other duties would include brief induction to new starters on access controls and the use of alarms. as well as room bookings on Outlook. Will be asked to Divert On Call mobile phones and sort post.

Receptionist may be involved with tours on site for Trainee doctors and Visitors.

Arranging chairs in Reception area and ensuring meeting rooms are tidy and clean.

Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

You will work closely with other members of the Reception Team to ensure a smooth and effective Reception Service.
