Staff Selection UK are currently looking to recruit a Welder Operative for our well known client in Peterlee

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan work to minimise waste of raw materials as well as working in a clean and tidy manner.
- Work to engineering drawings.
- Be Familiar with MiG welding competencies.
- Work in accordance with company operating procedures and guidelines.
- Work with production and production engineering to analyse, plan and implement solutions to create and implement efficient fabrication processes with regards to tooling, jigs etc.
- Work with production and production engineering on the design and implementation of projects considering Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
- Perform all relevant MiG welding, other welding and grinding etc.

Personal Attributes:

- Ideally possessing experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
- Have an eye for detail, strive for accuracy and respect quality in all aspects of the work.
- OUR CLIENT WILL ACCEPT SOMEBODY WITH MINIMAL EXPERIENCE OR SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE IT BEFORE AND LOOKING TO GET BACK INTO IT

£10.00 per hour
- Temp to Perm Basis.
