Technical Training/Learning Advisor (Aviation) - Westerham - Kent
£35,000-£55,000 dependant on experience. (3 month contract to permanent role)
Required skills & abilities:
*Participate in the proactive analysis of training needs as well as in the validation and identification of instructional approaches, tools, and training content.
*Develop and update technical training content and practical activities.
*Support the integration of new employees, including through inductions and additional teaching.
*The theoretical and practical delivery of Aviation Technical Training
*Act as a resource person and provide the technical expertise required in the context of complex operational problems encountered.
*Lead coaching sessions to provide feedback to learners.
*Recognize and seize opportunities for continuous improvement.
*Promote continuous training, human development, and operational excellence.
*Facilitate training sessions
*Ensure that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met
*Additional projects and duties as assigned by Management
*You'll be responsible for keeping all training files organised, accurate and maintained within Company standards as well as scheduling additional resources for any training needs.
*You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. You will also be at ease with communicating credibly across all levels of the Company, and proficient with general Microsoft programmes e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel.
*Working knowledge of training techniques desirable.
*Be able and willing to undertake instructional qualifications and deliver training based on those qualifications.
*Support training department objectives to deliver quality required training across the business.
*Data entry, record keeping and tracking of delivered training and certification for internal and regulatory compliance.
*Be able to deliver quality instructional training making used of recognised teaching techniques to be able to impart and assess knowledge transfer.
*Have suitable knowledge and experience of heavy maintenance practices (ideally from an aerospace environment, although any suitable sector considered eg rail, maritime, manufacturing etc).
*Other related duties as assigned. In addition, you will lead coaching sessions to provide feedback to learners and promote continuous training, human development, and operational excellence.
*You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in aviation maintenance (Preferably Part 145 environment).
*Working knowledge in a variety of computer software programs, (Windows 2000 Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word, Framemaker, MS Photo Editor) in order to develop, revise and deliver training material and presentations
*You have experience and relevant qualification in the field of learning, adult education, project management, coaching.
*You have excellent interpersonal skills.
*You have the ability to influence people.
*You have a great team spirit.
*You have a sense of organization and planning.
*You have computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
*DBS checked
*Training material design and delivery experience
*Relevant trainer and assessor qualifications desirable
