We’re looking for three Food and Beverage Team Members to join us at Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. In this role, you’d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

**Hours**:Flexible, 0-hour role, working up to 3 - 5 days per week **. This is an hourly paid, fixed term position, more hours will be available to work in peak times such as summer. Wherever possible, we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business, we'd give you as much notice of this as possible. **The role will include weekends and Bank Holidays, however, there are no evenings or split shifts. Shifts will be worked between 9am and 5.30pm (6pm in peak summer).**

**Salary**:£10.50 per hour.

**Duration**:Fixed Term Contract until 3rd November 2024.

**Interview dates**:23rd February 2024, at Croft Castle.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, **you'll work across both Croft Castle (Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5JA) and Berrington Hall (near Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 0DW), **which are about 5 miles from each other.

Croft is an ancient place situated on the English-Welsh border. Steeped in British history and politics with a picturesque castle and medieval parkland and Berrington is a Neo-Classical mansion built in the late 18th Century. In recent years the property has built a reputation for the display of contemporary art projects, both inside the mansion and on the wider property.

What you'll be doing:As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You’ll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café. With your love of working with people, your ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service, you’ll be making sure everyone has an enjoyable time. This is a lively business that’s constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial.

You’ll be keen to understand what people want, to help them and to make recommendations. You’ll always keep the standards of food and drink preparation and presentation high. Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate and looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.

We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
