**About the role**:
We're looking for a User Researcher to join our growing team. In this role you'll plan, design and carry out research activities to inform the design of products and communication and help teams get a deeper understanding of the people that use them.

You'll develop research plans and approaches working primarily alongside Product Designers, and will use a range of research methods, including usability testing, contextual interviews, and pop up research.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Planning, designing and conducting user research and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours, and support the design and development of product journeys and marketing communications
- Turning user research findings into actionable insights that inform the design and development of digital products and communications.
- Leading on research moderation, analysis and generation of outputs.
- Occasionally leading and supporting the product design teams’ work running design sprints using HCD to find solutions to problem statements.
- Supporting delivery teams to build accessible digital products by including participants across the full range of our customer base.
- Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary delivery team, including designers and product owners, to define research questions, plan research approach and prioritise findings

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Analytical, critical thinking with great attention to detail
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods and the ability to analyse and interpret research data.
- Understanding of user experience best practices, and ability to empathise with users and advocate for their needs.
- Knowledge of web and mobile technologies.
- Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
- Familiarity with business goals and market dynamics.
- Experience using Figma and prototyping.
- Excellent communication skills in order to interacting with senior team members
