**Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk**
Our client a well-established, international manufacturing company, due to an exciting period of expansion, are currently recruiting an experienced and proactive Senior Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include.
- Generating coding and checking invoices, working out VAT payments, checking and reconciling statements and dealing with all purchase enquiries
- Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Liaise with internal sales, contracting and operations teams to resolve any supplier related queries
- Working closely with the Accounts and Credit Control teams to maximise income within the business
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
- Process business expense returns
- Cashbook and petty cash cheques
- Reconciliation and cash allocation
- Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
