Technical Administrator is responsible for generating weekly production schedule aligning capacity to meet customer demand. Minimise overdue orders, turnaround time while maximising operational efficiency.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Develop Weekly production schedules for Chemistry Manufacturing department.
- Transact and maintain Production Shop orders to ensure that:

- Maintain start/end dates to accurately reflect the current schedule and expected completion.
- Accurate consumption of materials
- Ensure Raw material reservations are in place.
- Product is issued to correct locations.
- Manage the movement of material through robust system transactions to ensure inventory is in the right place at the right time to meet production requirements.
- Interact with Planning to communicate changes in Shop order completion dates.
- Interact with Operations, Planning, Logistics and Customer Services to understand production priorities.
- Escalate material shortages to Purchasing function and adjust schedules and Shop orders to reflect.
- Support in maintaining Routes and structures within company ERP.
- Support in root cause analysis of Conformance to Plan / Schedule adherence misses
- Attend Weekly Planning reviews.
- To be responsible for setting up and maintaining accurate system data relevant to the role.

**Qualifications**:

- Chemistry or Chemistry related degree
- IFS Experience - Desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Experience scheduling production utilising leading ERP software (IFS/SAP etc)
- Demonstrated appreciation of MRP and Master Data
- Understanding of Product structures / Bills of material and Production routings - Desirable but not essential
- Experience working in a global manufacturing or biotech organisation.
- Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
