**If you are an experienced Management Accountant looking for a Management Accountant/Manager role,** please do read on. A well-established accountancy firm in London is looking to recruit a talented, qualified person to manage a varied portfolioof clients within its Business Services Department and the role will offer hybrid working.

**As Management Accountant/Manager your responsibilities will include**:

- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Take responsible for monthly management accounts for various clients, and preparing pre-payments and accruals, preparing month-end management packs and identifying variances with explanations or commentaries
- Understanding sales workflows and being familiar with industry specific KPIs
- Managing purchase invoices into the accounting system, as well as being familiar with the purchase process and stock systems
- Posting all bank payments and receipts, and reconciling bank and cash systems
- Being responsible for maintaining and reconciling certain balance sheet items for clients, being responsible for inter-company transactions and balances, completing bank reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns; liaising with advisors in processing payroll and managing the payroll process
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Working, guiding and liaising with the outsourcing overseas accounts team
- Other ad hoc duties as designated by managers in line with the role
- Have extensive management accounting experience, ideally gained within practice or a standalone industry position
- Good IT skills; MS Office, particularly Excel and familiarity with cloud
- based accounting systems including Xero and QuickBooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work individually and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive attitude to work and able to meet deadlines
