This role will coordinate Mace’s framework appointments in terms of market intelligence and new opportunities. They will take responsibility for tracking the company’s pipeline of work generated from frameworks and regularly report on the success of these frameworks.

In addition to managing the company’s existing framework appointments, this role will take responsibility for scanning the market for new framework opportunities and ensure the data and intelligence is fed through to the right part of the business to maximise the opportunity.

The role will ensure all the company’s leads and prospects are correctly logged on to the system and will be responsible for monthly pipeline reporting. The role will have full visibility across the lifecycle of all of Mace’s key opportunities, from lead intelligence to the appointment and managing of the framework. The opportunities coordinator will work with the bid managers to ensure that all prospects are converted into projects or marked as a loss as appropriate. The opportunities coordinator will input data and intelligence into the system around the company’s wins and losses and will track and analyse trends on a corporate, sector, business and location level.

This role will be responsible for the distribution of the Official Journal of the European Union to the relevant parts of the business. They will track the take-up of these opportunities using the BMS and will champion ‘bid/no bid’ as part of the OJEU process. They will produce quarterly reports on the success of our OJEU bidding and will make recommendations as to how the company can improve its win ratio.

The opportunities coordinator will take the lead role in coordinating Mace’s framework appointments. Working with the Mace project manager they will identify ways to increase our market share on the framework and will extract best practices and examples of added value to share internally and externally. They will identify future framework opportunities relevant to Mace and develop proactive plans to target these opportunities. They will develop and maintain a robust frameworks database that catalogues all of Mace’s frameworks and when they are due for renewal. They will have a detailed understanding of each of the company’s key frameworks and will be the first point of contact for each of these and be responsible for coordinating and recording all the opportunities that come through these frameworks.

The opportunities coordinator will demonstrate best practice use of the company’s systems and will champion any change requests required to existing systems in order to accurately track and report on Mace’s public sector pipeline.

They will become an expert on public sector tendering and will advise the business on market movements and the future of tendering in the public sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive public sector frameworks database using Mace’s management system (BMS).
- Tracking the future framework opportunities and creating capture plans to target key frameworks.
- Managing the notification of new business opportunities through the BMS on all of Mace’s existing frameworks.
- Managing the company’s memberships of the numerous public sector portals ensuring that Mace’s profile is regularly and accurately updated and is reflective of the company’s position.
- Producing quarterly reports on the success of Mace’s individual frameworks (number of opportunities, conversion rates, profitability of the framework) and on Mace’s overall framework performance.
- Working with the Mace project managers responsible for the frameworks to develop and implement plans for increasing Mace’s market share.
- Modifying capture management projects.

About you

You will have a degree in a relevant discipline. You have professional membership in APMP, CIM or another appropriate professional body will be beneficial. You will have experience in professional service and/or the building/property industry. You have project management/task management experience.

You are digitally savvy and can build lasting relationships and can provide support to strong, motivated and multi-disciplinary teams. You will have experience in construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
