**Brief**
The role of the Field Service Representative (FSR) is to conduct fault diagnosis & repair (warranty or other), inspection, service & maintenance, modification & refurbishment tasks for the full range of products.
The FSR is required to travel in the UK and overseas (this could involve weekends) to provide proactive and professional support to address customer needs.
**What the role entails**:
Together with exemplary attention to detail, a thorough, conscientious "hands on" approach and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, the responsibilities of the Field Service Representative include:
- Responsibility for the timely delivery of worldwide vehicle repairs, upgrades & warranty
- Responsibility for the timely delivery of worldwide "BLASTech" product repairs, upgrades & warranty
- Minimising expenditure and enacting tasks in the most cost effective manner
- Liaise with customers and proactively build customer relationships
- Keeping the applicable Customer Service Advisor and the Technical Service Manager informed of progress, problems or challenges
- Logistical travel planning, including risk assessment and mitigation measures
- Provisioning and movement of spares & all necessary tools & equipment (with the support of the wider JSS team) required for the task
- Remaining familiar with the design & configuration of new Jankel vehicles and BLASTech products
**What experience you need to be the successful Field Service Representative**:
- Experience in a relevant field service role
- Significant experience in diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical and body related faults, in particular the successful applicant must have a high level of electrical knowledge and experience, coupled with strong fault diagnostic capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels within the business will be essential as well as being a team player
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools:
- Basic knowledge of export process and procedures
- Replacement of bonded ballistic glass
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience of SAP
- Certified to undertake UK MOT inspections
- Full UK Driving License (HGV cat C or C1 )
