**Salary**: £19,529 - £24,179. per annum (£10.12 - £10.95 per hour) plus enhancements for Night Working (21:45 - 7:00)
**Location**: Newark or Retford, Nottinghamshire
**Hours**: 37 hours per week, Full Time on a 7 day rota

**The Vacancy**

This busy and dynamic service needs motivated Support Workers to encourage their young people to be the best version of themselves. Being a young person is tough, you can help lead future generations.

We are looking for individuals with previous experience of working with Young People and who have an understanding the challenges young people face, childhood trauma and it's effects. If you've worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker or even volunteeredwith Young People, we want to hear from you.

The team play a critical role in advocating for their tenants. From liaising with agencies to help them access permanent accommodation to supporting them to access education or employment training. This includes advocating for them in meetings with services.

There’s still time for fun though as you will also support and encourage activities such as football, sports and activities.

Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7 day rota. The service operates 24/7, however day shifts are either 08:00 - 15:30 or 14:30 - 22:00. There will be the option to pick up nights on occasion, for which a night enhancement ratewill apply.

Change can sometimes be hard so you could face behaviours that challenge, your patient and assertive nature will make sure this doesn’t escalate and make sure there are positive outcomes consistently.
