We are looking for a friendly and fun loving Activity Co-Ordinator to join our team

Salisbury House is a residential care home located in Egerton Park, New Ferry, CH42 4RD.

As an Activity Co-Ordinator you will help deliver our programme of activities to our residents. Care Home activities are central to the life of our residents.

Salary is £10.90 per hour.

We are looking for a positive, creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team and be person centred in our care approach.

Our activities co-ordinator will be helping devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities for all of our residents.

This will be an extremely rewarding role.

Dementia knowledge is desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a activities co-ordinator role is preferred but not essential. Online training is available and encouraged.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

To undertake delegated tasks to contribute to the smooth running of the activity service.

Monitor engagement of activities both in house and in the community

Facilitating, planning and sourcing activities for the residents

Promoting and hosting in house activities for our residents

Arrange excursions to varied destinations and purposefully involve as many residents in activity outside of the home.

Ability to confidently present activity reports or attend meeting when requested.

**Skills**

Strong communication skills.

Ability to cope in challenging situations.

Understand and support individuals to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
