**Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Daily posting of bank transactions for numerous divisions.
- Manage outstanding payments and follow up with suppliers and customers.
- Process batch supplier payment runs on a periodic basis.
- Reconcile supplier statements to Company Creditor ledgers.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Maintain the Accounts mailbox.
- Initiate internal purchase orders and monitor approval status.
- **Customer and Supplier Liaison**:

- Chase invoices and receipts with internal and external customers.
- Collect, organise, and maintain financial data accurately.
- Perform regular data entry and updates into financial systems.
- **Other duties and accountabilities**:

- Assist in preparing and delivering monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Support team during month-end, year-end, and VAT return submissions.
- Daily cash flow management forecasting and various bank account reconciliation
- Manage intercompany sales and purchase ledger reconciliations.

**Skills, Knowledge & Education**:

- Proven track record in accounting, preferably within an industry setting.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with integrated accounting systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- AAT Level 3 qualification (Level 2 considered).

- Strong problem-solving abilities to independently resolve customer and supplier issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality communications.
