We are delighted to announce a training Children's Wellbeing Practitioner post in Sheffield CAMH service. The role will provide early intervention to children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is a training role within Children and Young People Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT). You will work towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practice at the University of Northumbria with permanent employment on completion of training and having attained CWP qualification based on the NHS Band 5 scale. You will work within a clinic setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality; outcome informed, focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing, mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. The training and service experience will equip you with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven service.

To be shortlisted you will have a minimum of a second-class university degree and previous experience of working with young people with mental health difficulties.

The post holder will attend university based taught and self-study days required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week.

This is a training role within the Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT). The post-holder will work within a CYP MHS as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

The training and service experience with equip the post holder with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven service.

The post holder will attend all university based taught and self study days required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.
