**Job purpose**: Based in Nottingham Kitronik Ltd, a company focused on designing educational electronic & coding products, are looking to recruit someone with teaching experience to write teaching resources to accompany our products. This is a new role and will involve working with the technical team and local teachers to ensure a quality specification has been written. Writing teaching resources such as student handouts, work examples, lesson plans and so on for UK computing curriculums and for D&T. Local alignment of resources for key markets such as America. Organising trials of the product and teaching material in local schools ahead of the products release.

This is a part time role, expected to be 3 days a week, though we would consider arrangements ie 4 days a week term time only. The job can be 100% office based or hybrid working 50% / 50% in office / at home.

**Company overview**:
Kitronik are a fast-growing Nottingham based electronics and coding company, supplier of products to Schools and Creative Maker customers. We are seeking a new team member to join our dynamic and friendly team on a 3-days a week part-time basis.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Production of written content to aid KS2 & KS3 teachers using the Kitronik product range.
- Working with the in-house graphic design team to ensure content is laid out without loss of meaning.
- Liaising with teachers to provide input to product specifications.
- Trailing new products and teaching materials in local schools.

**Required skills**:

- Production of clear concise teaching material using Microsoft Office.
- Be able to work under limited supervision.

**Desirable but not essential skills**:

- Experience of using coding modules or electronics in the classroom.
- Clean drivers licence.

**Travel**:
The role is mainly office based but will require visits to local schools.

**Remuneration**:
Wages will depend on experience and are likely to be around £21,000 per annum (£35,000 FTE)
