**The role**:
The Employer Engagement team works with a wide range of national and international graduate employers. This is an exciting time to join the team. We are beginning to work on a new longer term employer engagement plan, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students and that will enhance our employer relationships. We are also developing new ways of connecting employers with students both online and in person. For example, careers fairs, connecting employers to the curriculum, developing interactive virtual events and workshops as well as supporting students to develop their skills.

The Employer Partnership Adviser will lead on developing and managing ongoing partnerships with a diverse range of employers to enable them to meet their graduate recruitment objectives and that of the University’s. This will involve leading on account management processes and systems, employer meetings online and in person, developing and maintaining strategic relationships, as well as project managing pieces of work that support the operational and strategic needs of the team and the Careers Service. The Adviser will be expected to have a knowledge of the graduate labour market and graduate recruitment.

This is a fixed term contract to the 15 September 2024.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Developing partnerships with prospective graduate employers, whilst maintaining existing relationships. This will involve offering specialist advice and supporting employers to meet their recruitment needs.
- Developing and maintaining account management processes, including the review of current systems
- Meeting employers in person and online as well attending networking events
- Project manage specialist pieces of work related to the strategic aims of the Employer Engagement plan, for example, connecting employers to the curriculum, high level event planning
- Liaising with other teams across the university where they engage with external organisations/employers
- Researching and analysis of specialist labour market information and recruitment trends, reporting on account management data and presenting findings to different stakeholders.

- You enjoy building relationships and have proven experience of managing relationships
- Substantial planning and organising skills
- Proven experience of managing programmes and/or projects/events through to implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise, negotiate and work effectively with colleagues across the institution and key external stakeholders
