_**Operations Assistant**_
- HDA Chartered Financial Planners provide high-quality, comprehensive independent financial planning advice to individuals, families and businesses._
- We are looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to join our busy team. The successful applicant will primarily be based in our Cheltenham office. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a wealth of experience working within a Financial Planning firm and is looking for a position in a strong, secure, and flexible working environment. Industry knowledge and experience is ideal._
- **Role and Responsibilities**_
- You will work closely with the Compliance and Technical Operations Managers to ensure the smooth running of the teams and to provide an excellent service to our clients._
- The role includes but is not limited to:_
- _Assist the Technical Operations Manager with administration and maintenance of the T&C scheme._
- _Assist the Compliance Manager with the completion and corrective work for file reviews._
- _Assist with monitoring and administration of the firms Compliance manual, and processes._
- _Assist the Office Manager with IT and HR related administration._
- _A point of contact for all day-to-day compliance queries for the firm, along with other members of the Compliance Team_
- _Work with colleagues to continually monitor, update and review internal processes to improve efficiencies across the company_
- _Assist with the yearly review of the centralised product research_
- _Assist the compliance manager to liaise with external providers such as SmartSearch, SelectaPension, CashCalc for renewals, product updates/changes etc_
- _Assist with Corporate event planning._
- _Assist with all MI collation and reporting._
- _Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements including but not limited to MIFID II, COBS, GDPR and all in-house compliance requirements_
- _Adhere to the FCA and PRA conduct rules at all times_
- _Work with your colleagues to continually monitor, update and review internal processes to improve efficiencies across the company_
- _Maintain a polite, professional and positive attitude at all times_
- **The Individual**_
- Due to the nature of the role and the industry, we are looking for someone with:_
- _A minimum of 3 years’ administration experience_
- _A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an IFA firm (ideal)_
- _Exceptional organisational skills and able to work well under pressure_
- _Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally_
- _A strong work ethic and a flexible attitude_
- _A high level of accuracy_
- _Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook_

- Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per year (DOE)_
