The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager for their client based in Braintree, Essex.
Please note that this is a managerial position but also an operational one, so interested applicants must be able to/prepared to carry out operational duties as well as people management skills.
Successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day activity of running the inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring that all systems are fully functional, spares supply is maintained and spares are distributed efficiently, ensuring goods in anddispatch operations are maintained and day to day people management of the team.
- High level of knowledge and understanding of HM Customs & Excise Procedures
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Shipments Domestic & Overseas
- Strong time management, organisation and communication skills
- Knowledge of logistics systems and understand of transportation limitations and regulations
Desirable
- IATA Air Freight Certified
- ADR Road Freight Certified
- IMDG Maritime
- Counterbalanced Forklift Trained
