Farm Services Specialist

Kingshay are looking for a Farm Services Specialist to join their small and enthusiastic team. You will support all aspects of our business and help to ensure the smooth running of the office. The role is offered on a full time basis, covering maternity leave based at our head office at Bridge Farm, near Glastonbury.
Do you have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent computer skills, with the keenness and ability to quickly develop new skills. A high level of data accuracy is essential. A high level of competence using the Microsoft Office 365 suite is essential, particularly Excel
- Experience of livestock farming or within a farming related company
- Experience handling and interpreting agricultural related data will be a significant advantage
- Competent literacy and numeracy skills that are supported by English and Maths qualifications at GCSE or equivalent level
- A can-do attitude and be a good team player who also has with the initiative, motivation and drive to work on their own
Key responsibilities may include:
**Kingshay** Services**
Supporting industry leading services that Kingshay provides to farmers and industry professionals. Tasks will include:
- Support the Antimicrobial & Carbon Assessment service with data validation, data entry and reporting requirements
- Supporting the data analysis and interpretation
**DigiFarm Service Support**
- Providing first line response to user questions and requests, working with the team to resolve technical queries and providing training and support to where required
- Managing database records, including setting up new practices
- Regularly reporting on activity and service use
- Where product development and new features are requested, support others in the team to properly understand the requirements from clients, contributing to the specification
- Thorough testing of new features, providing detailed feedback to our developers
**Project Coordinator**
Support the development of new and existing projects, working in collaboration with other team members to understand the project requirements, delivery timetable, costs, tender/proposal submission, through to securing the funding for potential new projects. This will include Government, grant funded and private projects.
**Administration** and General Duties**:
Within a small team all members are expected to share in administration tasks, answering the phone and assisting with various tasks that allow the smooth operation of a successful office.
