**Contract Term**: Permanent
**Days/Times**: 15 hours per week (flexible). Some evening and weekend work may be required.

**Annual leave**: 20 days plus 8 statutory holidays
**Remuneration**:£15ph
**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our small Community Farm team at a time of exciting development and opportunity for the Red Brick Building. We are embarking upon two new Glastonbury Town Deal funded projects; scale ups grown from grass roots initiatives nurtured over the past decade by the local community.
The role will be responsible for the day to day administration needs of the Glastonbury Food & Regenerative Farming Centre; maintaining and developing excellent internal systems and procedures and supporting stakeholder/partner relations.

**Responsibilities and Objectives**
**Objectives of the Role**:
- Oversee administration and organisation of the GFRFC and Bridie’s Farm filing systems including hard copies as well as digital files in Onedrive and Sharepoint.
- Provide a point of contact and support for reception and volunteers.
- Assist with recruitment efforts across the GFRFC, working with Red Brick Building HR to fulfill admin needs of the recruitment and induction process for staff and volunteers.
- Ensure legal compliance by handling information and data in line with GDPR, keeping abreast of current regulation, and feeding this into improving working processes.
- Collaboratively identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including systems for outcome measurement and impact assessment.
- Champion a positive work culture, supporting conflict resolution, collaborative working and inclusivity. Promote awareness and best practice in safeguarding.
**Daily and Monthly Responsibilities**:
- Provide excellent quality communications and service to volunteers and centre users. Maintain databases in line with current GDPR.
- Work closely with the Community Engagement lead and external consultants to create and publish cohesive informative and promotional material, including online and social media.
- Work cooperatively with the wider Centre team to ensure well compiled and accessible documentation to support project activity and processes.
- Manage the day to day back office filing and admin systems.
- Manage team diary, holiday calendar, and circulate meeting minutes.
- Ensure office supplies and sundries are well stocked.
- Publish approved partnership agreements, policy and procedural updates including forward business planning and strategy documents.
- Collaboratively manage data collection systems to support outcome measurement and impact reporting.
- Produce monthly Administrator reports to the Project Manager.
- Work closely with the RBBC HR management to ensure accurate and up to date policy, and records, e.g. for Annual Leave and Training.
- Work closely with Project Management and the RBBC Building and Facilities manager to ensure up to date Health&Safety information is accessible.
- Handle confidential matters with care and discretion, working in close contact with Project Management, Designated Safeguarding Lead and HR manager where appropriate.

- Enthusiasm for the GFRFC and RBBC projects.
- 2+ years’ Administration experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
- Inhabit the openness and resilience needed to work in an outdoor/natural environment all year round.
- Proactive and self motivated.
- Familiarity with accounting software and working knowledge of MS Office.
- An open minded and inclusive approach to leadership and organisational structure.
- An awareness of safeguarding and data protection.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to engage in professional development and leadership training.
- Detail-oriented and highly organisational nature.
- A strong community minded and team-player ethos.
- 5+ years' Admin experience.
- Formal qualification or Diploma in Business and Administration.
- Knowledge and experience of XERO accounting software.
- Experience working within the Community and Volunteering sector, particularly in an outdoor setting.
