**Day Based Role**

My Client is a leading provider of Food / FMCG products and they are now seeking a Technical Administrator to join the team at their site based near Exeter. This is a newly created role as a result of the Company's growth. The successful Technical Administrator will be joining a small technical team and will report into the Site Technical Manager. **Technical Administrator Responsibilities to Include**:

- Creating and approving raw materials, artworks, and packaging.
- Using systems to ensure all data is uploaded, approved, and correctly categorised.
- Approval of BOMs and management of change control.
- Acting as the conduit for ingredient queries & supporting the technical team to respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Management of on-hold materials due to outstanding documentation
- Generating reports and share with relevant teams when required (expired, quarantine).
- Providing coverage to NPD sample/recipe assessment when required.
- Managing supplier non-conformities, raising concerns, and closing the loop.
- Managing NPD Log and handover to production.
- Assisting in training new employees on technical procedures, and quality control measures.
- Managing ongoing training and guidance to existing staff to ensure consistent adherence to established processes.
- Assisting in the project to move manufacturing to paperless system (ERP).
- Other duties as required.

**Technical Administrator Skills / Experience Required**:
A degree in Food Science / Technology or related experience
- Great attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Experience within a QA / Technical dept in a Food/ Drink/ Pharma environment

**Salary and Benefits**
C£28,000
- Potential from 1 day remote from home, after probation period (3-months).
- Electric cars can be charged on site.
- Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day for each year up to a maximum of 36 days.
- After reaching 5 years' service an employee gets an extra weeks' pay every August.

This role is commutable from Exeter, Honiton, Taunton, Cullompton, Tiverton, Ilminster, Chard and surrounding areas
