**About Us**:
Lifeline Fire and Safety Systems Ltd are a leading manufacturer of fire and safety systems based in Coventry in the UK. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced contractor to lead the successful implementation of a new Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system within our organization.

**Job Summary**:
This is a minimum 3-month contract position responsible for the complete implementation of a new MRP system within our SME business. You will work closely with key stakeholders across various departments to configure, test, and launch the system, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with internal teams (Purchasing, Quality, Production) to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement through the MRP system.
- Work collaboratively with the chosen MRP vendor to configure the system to meet our specific needs and business rules.
- Conduct data cleansing exercise to purge data and ensure clean data sets are migrated.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration plan to ensure accurate and complete information transfer into the new system.
- Conduct thorough system testing to identify and resolve any potential issues before launch.
- Support training delivery with vendor - material and programs for all end-users on the new MRP system functionality _- Dependant on time taken to implement._
- Provide support and guidance to users during the initial system rollout _- Dependant on time taken to implement._
- Document system configurations and processes for future reference.

**Qualifications**:

- Significant experience in implementing MRP systems within a manufacturing environment (SME experience preferred).
- Proven understanding of MRP principles, functionalities, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with Progress Plus and or Sage Manufacturing is a benefit.
